In this next chapter of my Land and Sea series, I’m exploring the energy of the Nautilus & Hibiscus.

This work explores the balance between endurance and renewal.

The nautilus forms its shell in a natural spiral, creating new chambers as it grows, each one holding a past version of itself. Rather than leaving anything behind, it expands forward while carrying its history within.

Paired with it, the hibiscus blooms openly and fully, symbolising softness, presence, and the quiet return of hope. Its delicate form holds a quiet strength, a reminder that openness and resilience can exist together.

Together, these elements reflect the experience of moving through change and grief, not as something to overcome, but something to move with. A process of holding both what has been lost and what continues to unfold.
