Sacred Story Commission – Northern Territory
Watercolour and ink | A4 (21cm x 29.7cm)
There is a rhythm to the Top End that lives beneath the surface.
In the curve of the crocodile’s back, ancient and unmoving.
In the pandanus reaching toward monsoon skies.
In the barramundi breaking water.
In the dragonfly hovering between worlds.
In the quiet strength of the dingo standing watch among blooming lilies.
This piece was created as a sacred story rooted deeply in the Northern Territory where life is shaped by water and heat.
Each element chosen holds meaning:
Protection. Adaptability. Resilience. Transformation. Belonging.
The golden circle weaves them together, a reminder that land, water, and spirit are never separate here.
This is what I love most about Sacred Story Commissions…
They are not just paintings.
They are place.
They are memory.
They are identity held in colour and form.
If you feel called to honour your own connection to land, lineage or spirit, my commissions are open.
